WELCOME TO
Bible Memorization Project
DID YOU KNOW?
The human brain can store up to 2.5 petabytes (2.5 million gigabytes) of information. Memorizing the entire Bible would occupy only a tiny fraction of the brain’s capacity—less than 0.000002% of its total storage potential!
John Nevins Andrews (1829–1883): An Adventist pioneer, could recite the entire New Testament from memory.
Dr. Evans Williams (1870–1950): Memorized the entire King James Bible and the New Testament in the American Standard Version.
The Waldensians (12th–16th centuries): In the Middle Ages, when copies of the Bible were rare, the Waldensians memorized large portions of the Old and New Testament Scriptures to preserve God’s Word.
MEET THE FOUNDER
The Bible Memorization Project was founded in 2021 by Mwaba Chibwe, a youth pastor who began memorizing the New Testament in 2018. He is now halfway through this journey and aims to finish memorizing the entire New Testament by 2027. Inspired by John Nevins Andrews (1829–1883), an Adventist pioneer who memorized the New Testament, and Dr. Evans Williams (1870–1950), a Scottish Bible scholar who memorized the entire King James Version and the New Testament in the American Standard Version, Mwaba realized that Scripture memorization is not only possible but also manageable. The purpose of Bible Memorization Project is: To inspire and encourage people to memorize Scripture and to share effective and proven memorization techniques.
